• Password usage and management – including creation, frequency of changes, and protection.
• SST offers protection from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other malicious code – through scanning, updating definitions .
• Policy – implications of noncompliance can result in termination.
• Do NOT open or save unknown e-mail/attachments.
• SST does monitor web usage for allowed versus prohibited.
• All data saved to the SST network is backed up daily. Any files save to a local drive are subject to loss.
• Changes in system environment – increases in risks to systems and data (e.g., water, fire, dust or dirt, physical access)
• Mobile, handheld devices and smart phones have security issues – both physical and wireless security issues.
