Symantec is not perfect so it is important to recognize what are common symptoms of a computer virus?

Here is a list of some of the symptoms you may encounter if your computer has a virus.

• Files disappear
• Files replicate
• Mystery file appear
• Data is transformed or corrupted
• Disk space fills up
• Computer slows down or locks up
• Hard drive crashes
• PC is unable to boot
• Unusual system messages appear
